For cake:
3 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 c. buttermilk
1 c. butter (softened)
2 tsp. vanilla
4 eggs

For glaze:
3/4 c. sugar
1/3 c. butter
3 tbls. water
2 tsp. butter

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Grease and flour bundt cake pan.

Combine all ingredients in a large bowl. Blend at low speed until moistened. Beat 3 minutes at medium speed. Pour into prepared pan and bake at 350º for 60-75 minutes (until a wooden toothpick comes out clean).

Prepare butter sauce: combine sugar, water and butter in small pan. Heat until butter melts. Remove from heat and stir in 2 tsp. vanilla.

Prick bottom of buttercake deeply with a fork in multiple places. Pour 3/4 cup butter sauce over hot cake. Cool upright in pan for 5 minutes.

Turn onto serving plate. Spoon remaining sauce over cake.
