1 egg
1 1/2 cubes margarine (Blue Bonnet works best)
3/4 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup granulated sugar
2 1/4 cup flour
1/2 tsp salt
3/4 tsp baking soda
chocolate chips
walnuts if you like

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Combine egg and sugars. Cream really well. Add salt and soda. Mix until blended. Add flour 1 cup at a time. Mix until well blended. Add chocolate chips, walnuts and whatever else you like in your cookies. Bake 10-13 minutes.

This recipe is tried and tested. I got it from my dear friend, Cami. Her Mia Maid girls would look forward to their birthdays, where she would bring them each a dozen cookies. Experiment with your favorite chips and nuts.
