1-1/2 cups Sugar
3/4 cup fresh buttermilk
1/2 cup butter
2 Tbl corn syrup
1 teas baking soda
2 teas vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Combine the first five ingredients and bring to a boil. Boil for 7 minutes. Remove from the heat; stir in vanilla. Keep left over syrup in the refrigerator, and use it up on ice cream.

Personal Notes:
Use this caramel flavored syrup over Dutch Babies (German Pancake) or waffles. Left over syrup is wonderful over ice cream.
