3 loaves bread
3 lbs. sausage (I like Jimmy Dean)
1 1/2 stalks chopped celery
4-5 onions chopped
2 cubes butter
rubbed sage
anise seed
garlic powder
salt
pepper

Directions:
Directions:
blend bread in blender.


Cook sausage. Set aside in a large bowl
Saute onion with 1 cube of the butter & add to sausage.
Saute celery in remaining butter & add to bowl.
Mix all together.
Stir in bread & seasonings.
Store in refrigerator until bird is ready to be stuffed & cooked.

*Add chicken broth or evaporated milk to desired moistness.

*Sometimes I add cooked wild rice, cranberries or mushrooms.
