3 TLB Yeast
1/2 Cup Warm Water
4 Cups Hot Water
1 Cup + 1 TLB Sugar
2 Sticks Margarine + 1 TLB Margarine /OR 1 Cup + 1 TLB Shortening
1 TLB Salt
5 eggs beaten
1 tsp Mace or Nutmeg
1 TLB Vanilla
1 tsp Lemon Extract
1/2 Cup instant Powdered Milk
10 Cups Flour (or little more)
Raisins
Melted margarine
1 Cup granulated Sugar
1 TLB Cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Dissolve yeast in the 1/2 cup warm water and set aside. In bowl combine the 4 cups hot water with the 1 cup plus 1 TLB Sugar and Margarine and salt. Cool. Add beaten eggs, mace or nutmeg, Vanilla & Lemon. Stir in yeast, powdered milk and flour. Beat & mix until thoroughly combined. Add 2 additional cups flour if needed. Dough should be soft & sticky. Add raisins to dough. Cover dough and allow to rise until double in bulk. Roll out in oblong shape. Spread with butter, cinnamon & sugar. Cut in 1 inch slices and place on greased jelly roll pan. Let rise and bake at 350 for 12-15 min. or until golden brown.
