1/2 c. water
1/4 c. cider vinegar
1/4 c. Worcestershire sauce
1/4 c. ketchup
1/4 c. dark corn syrup
2 T. vegetable oil
2 T. prepared mustard
1 beef brisket ( 3lbs.)

Directions:
Directions:
In a large saucepan, combine everything but the brisket. Bring to boil, stirring constantly. Reduce heat, simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from the heat. Place the brisket in a shallow roasting pan; pour sauce over the top. Cover and bake at 350º for 2 to 2 1/2 hours or until meat is tender. Let stand for 5 minutes. Thinly slice meat across the grain.
