Sift together:
1 and 1/2 cup flour
1 teaspoon soda
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg

Directions:
Directions:
Combine 1 cup quick cooking oatmeal with 1 and 1/3 cup boiling water. Let set
a few minutes

Cream 1/2 cup butter
Add: 1 cup white sugar
1 cup brown sugar
Stir in 2 tablespoons molasses, 2 unbeaten eggs, the oatmeal mixture and the sifted dry ingredients. Mix well. Use 9x13 greased pan and bake at 350 for 35-40 minutes.
