3/4 C peanut butter
1/2 C Crisco
1 1/4 C firmly packed brown sugar
3 T milk
1 T vanilla
1 egg
1 3/4 C flour
3/4 t salt
3/4 t baking soda

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375º. Combine peanut butter, crisco, brown sugar, milk and vanilla in large bowl. Beat at medium speed until well blended. Add egg. Beat just until blended. Combine flour, salt and soda - add to creamed mixture at low speed. Mix just until blended. Drop by heaping teaspoonfuls 2" apart on ungreased baking sheet. Flatten slightly in criss-cross pattern with lines of fork. Bake 375º for 7 - 8 min. Cool 2 min. on baking sheet.
