1/2 C butter flavor Crisco
1 C creamy Jiff Peanut butter
3/4 C granulated sugar
1/2 C firmly packed brown sugar
1 tbs milk
1 tsp vanilla
1` egg
1 1/4 C all-pur[ose flour
3/4 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt

Preheat oven to 375º

Cream crisco, peanut butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, milk and vanilla in a large bowl at medium speed of electric mixer until well blended. Beat in egg

Combine flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Mix into creamed mixture. drop rounded tablespoonfuls of dough 2 inches apart into ungreased baking sheet. flatten in a crisscross pattern with a fork dipped in flour. (I dip fork in water)
NOTE: I roll the dough in a ball before pressing with a fork for a more uniform shape.

Bake at 375º for 8-10 minutes. Cool 2 minutes on baking sheet. remove to cooling rack
