3 c flour (Can be 2c white and 1c whole wheat)
3 tsp baking powder
½ c sugar
pinch of salt
¾ c soft margarine
1 egg, beaten in a 1 c measure
~1 c milk

Directions:
Directions:
Stir together the dry ingredients. Cut in margarine. Beat egg in a 1 c measure then add milk until 1 c. Add to dry mixture. Mix quickly and lightly, just until no dry particles remain.
Scrape out onto a lightly floured board and knead gently. Roll until about 1 inch thick. Cut into rounds with biscuit cutter. Place on cookie sheet and bake at 425ºF for 8 minutes.
