Chicken:
Boil and debone chicken. Leave pot of broth on stove. In a 2 cup measuring cup, dip out about 1 1/2 cups of broth. Fill cup with ice, broth must be cold to make dumplings.

Dumplings:
Combine all ingredients to consistency of biscuit dough. On a floured surface, roll about 1/3 of the dough at a time, very thin. Cut into small strips and drop into boiling broth. When all of the dumplings have been put into the broth, turn fire on very low and cover. Cook about an hour. Put deboned chicken back in pot. Add 1 stick margarine and about 1 1/2 cups milk. Salt and pepper to taste. Let stand 5 or 10 minutes.
