8 cups water
2 cups of 5 minute grits
12 slices of bacon cooked and chopped into pieces
1 to 1 1/2 lbs. of shrimp ( already cooked)
4 cups grated cheese
1 stick of butter
salt to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Cook grits according to directions. Fry bacon in skillet then sautee shrimp in bacon grease. Add to grits along with butter and cheese. Works best if added to crock pot to keep warm after completely made.

Can be serve without the shrimp or you can add crawfish tails to recipe.
My Sunday School class loves when I bring my grits to our breakfast.
