3/4 cup butter, softened
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 egg

1 cup eggnog
4 cups flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. nutmeg

Directions:
Directions:
1) Beat butter and sugar until fluffy. Add egg and beat. Add the flour mixture and eggnog alternately, beating until well mixed.

2) Cover and chill for at least 4 hours or overnight.

3) Roll Tbsp. size pieces out onto floured surface until they are pencil thickness.
Fold in half and twist together like a stick pretzel.

4) Roll topside into colored sugar or candy sprinkles. Lay dough side down onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350º for 8-10 minutes.
