1 teaspoon of cold water
1 egg white
½ teaspoon vanilla
1 pound of large pecan halves
½ cup white sugar
½ cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon salt

Directions:
Directions:
Beat egg white and water until frothy, add vanilla, add pecans and mix well until all pecans are covered with egg white mixture.

In a separate bowl, combine sugar, cinnamon and salt and mix together thoroughly.

Pour sugar mixture over pecans and stir well to cover all of the pecans with sugar mixture. Spread out on baking sheet. Bake at 225 degrees for one hour. Stir occasionally. Makes 2 cups of wonderful candied pecans.
