2 2/3 cups thin pretzel sticks, broken into pieces
1/4 cup sugar
1 stick butter, melted
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
1 cup sugar
8 ounces Cool Whip
1 large box strawberry Jell-O
2 cups boiling water
16-ounce package frozen strawberries, with sugar, defrosted

Directions:

Heat oven to 350º. Mix pretzels, 1/4 cup sugar, and melted butter. Spread out into greased 9" x 13" glass pan and bake for 10 minutes. Cool. Thoroughly cream softened cream cheese and sugar. Beat in Cool Whip. Gently spread over cooled pretzel crust and chill. Add boiling water to Jell-O. Chill until it begins to thicken. Stir in defrosted strawberries. Pour over cheese layer and chill until firm.
