1 cup butter or margarine
1½ cup 10x sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
2¾ cup flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1 pinch off salt

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together butter or margarine with 10x sugar. Add eggs and vanilla. Set aside.
Sift together flour, baking soda, cream of tartar, and salt. Roll dough into log refrigerate for 2 hours. Cut into slices and bake at 300º for 12 min.
