1/2 Cup Butter
1 Cup Sugar
1 Egg
1 tsp Vanilla
2 cups Sifted Flour
1/2 Cup Cocoa
1 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
1/2 tsp each: Baking powder, salt
1 Cup Milk

Filling:
3/4 Cup Butter
2 Cup Confectioners' Sugar
1/2 Cup Marshmallow Creme
1 1/2 tsp Vanilla

Directions:

Cream Butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add egg and vanilla; beat thoroughly. Sift flour with cocoa, soda, baking powder, and salt and add in thirds alternating with milk, beating until smooth after each addition. Drop from a tablespoon onto uncreased cookie sheets about2 inches apart. Bake at 425 degrees fro about 8 minutes. Cool on cake racks. To prepare filling, beat ingredients in small bowl of electric mixer until smooth and fluffy. Spread on flat side of half the cookies; press flat side of remaining cookies over filling.
