2 1/2 cups of raisins
1 cup of water
1 tsp baking soda

1 cup of butter
2 cups of white sugar
3 beaten eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp. allspice
1 cup chopped nuts
4 cups of flour

Preheat oven 425

Cook together for 5 minutes raisins and water. Add soda and cool.

Cream together butter, white sugar, eggs and vanilla.

Add baking powder, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, nuts and flour

Drop by spoon on cookie pans

Bake 10 minutes
