½ cup warm water
1 tsp sugar
2 pkgs yeast or 2 Tbsp

1½ cups scalded milk
½ cup butter or oil
½ cup sugar
1 tsp salt
3 eggs, well beaten
6 cups flour

Directions:
Directions:
In a small bowl, mix together the yeast, warm water, and sugar. Let stand 15 minutes.

In a large bowl mix together the scalded and cooled milk, butter or oil, sugar, and salt. Add the beaten eggs and add the yeast mixture to this mixture. Start adding the flour and mixing together. Knead the dough and let stand for 1 hour.

Does not have to be punched down before rolling out.
