Ingredients: 8 oz Pitted Dates (finely chopped) 1- 14oz. Eagle Brand Milk 1/2 tsp.Vanilla 1 Cup Chopped Pecans 50 Ritz Crackers
2 cups Confectionery Sugar 4 oz. Cream Cheese 1/2 tsp.Vanilla Milk add a little at a time to get the consistency to spread

Directions:Preheat oven to 325 degrees
Using a double boiler put water in bottom and combine milk and dates in the top and cook on medium heat until creamy but not to thick add chopped pecans and vanilla stirring until well blended,spread 1 tsp.of filling on each cracker keep filling warm for easier spreading. bake for 8 to10 minutes. Let cool then icing them.
Icing 2 cup confection sugar 4 oz.cream cheese soften 1/2 tsp.vanilla milk a little at time to get the consistency you need With hand mixer mix the first 3 ingredients and milk a little at a time to get the consistency you need spread icing on each cracker keep filling. Enjoy |
