4 1/2 c. white sugar
1 cup of butter, must be real butter
2 Tbs. vanilla
1 c. evaporated milk
1 lg. and 1 small chocolate chips ,I use small semi sweet and lg. milk chocolate
1 c. chopped nuts, I use walnuts

In large pot boil milk and sugar stirring constantly so not to scorch. Remove from heat add butter and chips, mix until butter is melted and all combined, add vanilla and nuts.
Linea a 9x13 pan with foil or parchment paper, pour into pan. Cool and cut. Makes about 5 lbs.
