2¼ C all purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 C (2 sticks) butter, softened
¾ C white sugar
¾ C firmly packed brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla extract
2 eggs
1 12 oz. pkg. Nestle Toll House semi-sweeet chocolate morsels
1 C nuts, chopped

Directions:
Preheat oven 375º. In small bowl, combine flour, baking soda and salt; set aside. In large mixer bowl, beat butter, sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla until creamy. Beat in eggs. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in chocolate morsels and nuts. Drop by rounded measuring tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 9-11 minutes until edges are golden brown.

Pan Cookie
Spread dough in greased 15½ x 10½ x 1 inch baking pan. Bake at 375º for 20-25 minutes. Cool completely. Cut into thirty-five 2 inch squares.

Giant Toll House Cookies
Prepare dough as directed. Drop dough by ¼ cupfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets. Press lightly into 3" circles. Bake at 375º for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden brown. Makes about twenty 4 inch cookies.
