1 c. sugar
1 c. Crisco
1/2 c. sour milk
1/2 c. sour cream
1 egg
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp baking powder
2-3 cups flour
1/2 c. molasses

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven 350º. Mix all ingredients. Roll, Cut and Bake.

(I think grandma chilled for an hour. Rolled on a floured surface, used a cookie cutter and baked.)

This was a single card and copied exactly. But there are 3 other molasses cookie recipes - you may want to try them all to figure out grandma's version.
Keep in mind, grandma baked often without recipes, it was a gift she had to know consistencies and bake by looking.
