2 c molasses
1 c brown sugar
1 1/2 c shortening
3 eggs
1/2 c water
1 T soda
2 t cinnamon
1 t ginger
1/2 t salt
6 c flour
Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar and eggs. Stir in remaining ingredients and mix well. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto greased baking sheet.Bake at 350º for 10-15 minutes. Cookies will be soft. Can frost with a glaze:
2 c powdered sugar
2 T soft butter
1 t vanilla
3-4 T half& half
