1 cup Crisco
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup granulated sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla
1 1/4 cups sifted flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp cinnamon
3 cups oatmeal (quick oats)
2 eggs

Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar and eggs. Add dry ingredients. Fold in oats. Drop by teaspoon on greased baking sheets. Bake at 350 for 12-15 minutes.

Nostalgic family recipe. My grandmother would make these cookies when I was a child in the 80’s. She would leave a huge batch in the freezer for us to take a couple at a time when we checked her house as she wintered in Florida.
