2 TBLS corn starch
1 Tsp salt
½ Tsp dry mustard
¼ Tsp ground black pepper
2½ Cups whole milk
2 TBLS butter
2 Cups shredded american or cheddar cheese
8 ounces elbow macaroni ( about 1 ¾ cups) cooked about 7 minutes and drained

Directions:
Directions:
1. In medium sauce pan combine first four ingredients: stir in milk, add butter stirring constantly bring to a boil over medium heat and boil for 1 minute.

2. Stir in cheese until melted, add cooked macaroni, pour into greased 2 quart casserole dish. Sprinkle bread crumbs

3. Bake uncovered in 375º oven 25 minutes until lightly browned

4. Remover let rest 5 minutes: serve hot
