2 cups Raisins
1 cup Water
1 cup Butter, softened
2 cups Sugar
3 Eggs
1 tsp Vanilla
4 cups Flour
1½ tsp Baking Powder
1 tsp Baking Soda
2 tsp Salt
1½ tsp Cinnamon
¼ tsp Nutmeg

Directions:
Directions:
Add raisins and water to saucepan. Boil for 5 minutes and cool.
Cream butter and sugar, then add eggs, and vanilla and mix well. Add raisins and water and mix. Sift together dry ingredients and slowly add to bowl while mixing. Bake at 350ºF for 10-12 minutes.
