1/2 cup butter
1 cup brown sugar
1 egg
1-3/4 cups flour
1/2 t salt
1/2 t soda
1 t vanilla
1/4 cup sour milk
1 cup chopped nuts
1 cup cut candied cherries
1 cup cut dates
Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter, sugar and egg. Add dry ingredients, stir in nuts, cherries, and dates.

Drop from teaspoon onto ungreased cookie sheet.

Bake 10-13 minutes at 375º
