1 c 2 tbsp Butter (2 sticks 2 tbsp) softened
1 1/2 c granulated sugar
1 c light brown sugar packed
2 large eggs room temperature
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 tsp almond extract
3 cups unsifted flour ( I use King Arthur Bread flour)
1/2 baking soda
1 tsp salt
2 c white baking chips ( I use Ghirardelli)
1 1/2 c Macadamia nuts chopped coarsely

Directions:

preheat oven to 350
Cream butter in mixer add sugars until light and fluffy.
Add vanilla and almond extracts blend then add 1 egg ad a time until well blended after each egg.
Combine flour baking soda and salt in a separate bowl then slowly mix into cream batter.
Stir in chips and nuts.
Drop by rounded teaspoon onto an ungreased baking sheet lined with parchment paper. bake for 10-12 minutes ( I just do a flat 11 minutes) remove pan let cool for at least 7 minutes then use spatula to put on a wire cooling rack until completely cooled.
