1/2 stick butter
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 cups instant mashed potatoes
1 egg
6 cups flour
1 cup cold water

Directions:

Beat 1 cup cold water, and the 1 egg with a fork.
Place flour onto work surface
Make a well in the flour
Add egg mixture and potatoes.
Kneed it until pliable Add extra flour if needed.

Roll dough into ½ thick ropes.
Cut into about 1 inch pieces.

To make the shape of the pasta
Press each piece with 2 floured fingers gently and roll towards you.

To cook: add pasta to boiling water Cook until they rise to the to top.
To freeze: place on a cookie sheet until frozen and then place in a plastic bag.
