3/4 cup shortening
3/4 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
2 3/4 cups rolled oats
1 cup dried cranberries
1 cup chopped walnuts

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 375’.
Cream the sugars and shortening together, then beat in the eggs and vanilla.
Combine the flour, baking soda, and salt, and then combine the mixtures.
Mix in the oats, cranberries, and walnuts, then drop by teaspoonfuls, 2 inches apart, onto cookie sheets that have been greased and dusted with flour.
Bake at 375º for 8 minutes.
