1¾ cup Butter or Margarine
2 cups White Sugar
½ cup Brown Sugar
4 Eggs, beaten
3 tsp. Vanilla
1 Pkg. (box) Cake Mix
2 cups Flour
¾ cup Cocoa
1 tsp. Baking Soda
½ tsp. Salt
2 cups Chocolate chips
1½ cup Nuts, chopped

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar together. Add eggs and vanilla and beat well. Combine cake mix, flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt. Blend into creamed mixture. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts. Drop teaspoon full dough onto cookie sheet. Bake at 350ºF for 10 minutes. Cool slightly before removing from cookie sheet.
Yields: 7 dozen
