1 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup butter
1 cup powdered sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla
1 cup oatmeal
1 cup chopped pecans
1 tablespoon powdered sugar or as needed

Directions:
Directions:
In a bowl mix the flour, baking soda, salt set aside. Cream the butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla until the mixture is smooth and creamy. Stir in the flour mixture; gently stir in the oatmeal and the pecans until combined.
With a spoon, drop about a tablespoon of dough onto a parchment lined cookie sheet.
Bake at 325 degrees for about 20 minutes. Let cool completely before sprinkling with powdered sugar.
