1 Cup Crisco
1 Cup Brown Sugar
1 Cup White Sugar
3 Cups Quick Cooking Oatmeal
2 Eggs
1 tsp. Vanilla
1 Cup Finely Chopped Nuts
1 1/2 Cup Flour
1 tsp. Baking Soda
1/2 tsp. Salt

Directions:
Directions:
Mix together Crisco, brown sugar and white sugar, then add oatmeal and mix.
Add 2 eggs, vanilla and mix; add nuts and mix; Combine flour, baking soda, salt and then stir this mixture into Crisco mixture.
Divide dough in half - form into 2-12 inch logs. Wrap in wax paper.
Refrigerate for 2 hours or overnight, can be refrigerated up to a week
Slice into 1/4 inch thick slices. Bake 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes
Can be frozen for up to 3 months.
