¾ c shortening
1 c sugar
¼ c molasses
1 beaten egg
2 c flour
2 tsp baking soda
¼ salt
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp cloves
1 tsp ginger

Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening and sugar. Add molasses and egg, mixing well.
Mix flour, soda, salt and spices together.
Add to creamed mixture.
Form into small balls, roll in sugar.
Bake @ 375º for 15 min.
