Notes: Alicia came into our lives when my son Rob married Darlene, he became not only a husband, but also a father, making me an instant Grandma. All of a sudden, I had a beautiful granddaughter, only a few years old. Alicia was always smiling and fell in love with our dog Garth, I remember they had taken her to a Fair and she won a stuffed caterpillar and couldn't wait to give it to Garth. When I opened The Corner Tea House in Hawley, Alicia would occasionally come and stay with me. My customers loved her, she would wear one of our hats, and especially liked working the counter as she got older. After closing I would work on desserts for the following day, and when she was there I'd make Sugar Cookies for my three-tiered trays. We would make cookies in the shape of teacups and teapots, and she loved decorating them. After I closed the Tea House and would go watch Sean's soccer games, even though she had graduated and was working, she always managed to find time to see me. Tragically Alicia and her mom were killed in a head on collision in 2017.
