Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
This is Pat's favorite cookie. I usually add an extra 1/2tsp of cinnamon.
Mildred was like a second mother to me & she was such a great cook & baker, The women in those days like my Mom & Mildred were the best cooks & bakers. Everything they cooked or baked was from scratch. No cake or cookie mixes. I learned so much from them & there is still some recipes that are just not quite as good as Mom & Mildred's. It's like my boys, Greg & Aaron when they were young. We lived in the same yard & boys would always want to walk to Grama Mildred for a peanut butter sandwich. I'd say I will make you a peanut butter sandwich.. They'd say no ,"Grama makes the best peanut butter sandwich."
