Sugar Cookie #1

1 C. Butter Softened
1 TSP Vanilla
1½ C. Sugar
3 Eggs
3½ C. Flour
2 TSP Cream of Tartar
1 TSP Baking Soda
½ TSP Salt

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together butter, vanilla and sugar- then add eggs one at a time.
Sift together flour, cream of tartar, baking soda, and salt. Combine wet and dry ingredients.

Wrap dough and refrigerate for 2-3 hours (can stay in fridge for up to a week). Roll out to ¼" and cut into desired shapes.
Place on ungreased cookie sheet and bake at 375º for 5-8 minutes until light to golden brown

1 C. Butter Softened
1 TSP Vanilla
½ TSP Almond Extract
1 Egg
2½ C. Flour
1 TSP Baking Soda
1 TSP Cream of Tartar
