3 ¾ cup flour
¾ tsp baking powder
2 tsp baking soda
2 ¼ cup sugar
1 cup butter. Softened not melted
¾ cup dark Dutch cocoa powder
¼ tsp salt
2 large eggs, room temp
1 tsp real vanilla extract
1 ½ cup whole milk, room temp

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 and prepare cookie sheets with parchment paper.
In a large bowl whisk together the flour, salt, baking powder and baking soda.
In a stand mixer beat room temp butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Add in the cocoa powder to the butter and mix until incorporated.
Add in eggs and vanilla, mix until combined.
Alternating the milk and dry ingredients, add them to the butter and sugar mixture, mix until combined, stopping a few times to scrape down the sides of the bowl.
Portion out the cookie batter with a medium sized ice cream scoop. Placing 6 cookies on each sheet.
With a small offset spatula spread the batter into a 3 inch circle.
Bake 12 minutes, let cool on pan 5 minutes and move to cooling rack to cool completely.
