1 stick unsalted butter, softened
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup finely chopped walnuts
2 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 cup plus 2 TBSP flour
1 tsp cream of tartar
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp salt

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Beat butter, sugar and vanilla in bowl with electric mixer until light and fluffy. Add remaining ingredients; mix well. Shape dough into balls, using slightly rounded teaspoonful for each. Place on ungreased baking sheets, leaving 2-inch spaces between each. Bake until lightly browned, about 15 minutes. Cool on wire rack.
