2 cubes of butter
1/3 c granulated sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
2 c sifted cake flour
2 c cornflakes (crush after measuring)
1 cup chopped pecans or walnuts

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 350°F.
Cream together the butter, sugar, and vanilla
Stir in the cake flour, followed by the cornflakes and nuts.
Shape the dough into small (¾ inch) balls and arrange them on parchment-lined cookie sheets.
Bake for 20 to 25 minutes.
While warm, roll the cookies in powdered sugar

I found this recipe in an old cookbook that had thousands of recipes. I used this cookbook for years and loved it. With our moves, I can't find the book anymore and this is as close to the recipe that I can remember.
