4 quarts sliced cucumbers
⅔ cup salt
dill
garlic cloves
Brine:
3 cups sugar
2 cups white vinegar
4 cups cold water
Directions:
Directions:
Cover the cucumbers with the salt, mix, put ice cubes on top and soak for at least 1 hour.
Drain and rinse with cold water.
Pack jars with cucumbers, dill and garlic.
Mix the brine and pour over the top covering all the cucumbers.
Cover and store in the refrigerator.
