2½ cups self-rising flour
1 cup milk
1/2 cup lard.

Directions:
Directions:
Put flour in bowl and make a hole in the middle.
Pour milk and add lard to the hole.
Work flour down into mold and lard and kneed with fingers until you form a ball.
Turn out on floured surface, kneed and roll out into 2 inch thickness.
Cut out biscuits with biscuit cutter place 2 inches apart on baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Bake until golden brown. (approx 10 minutes
