Ingredients:
1 cup all-purpose flour
½ cup corn starch
½ cup icing sugar
¾ cup butter, softened

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 300ºF.

Combine flour, cornstarch, and icing sugar in a large bowl. With a large spoon, blend in butter. Work it in with your hands until a soft, smooth dough forms, and shape into a ball. If necessary, refrigerate for 30 minutes or until the dough is easy to handle.

Roll dough to ¼ inch thickness. Cut into shapes with cookie cutters. Place on ungreased baking sheets (or cover with parchment paper), and decorate as desired (I like to use red and green coloured sugar, very festive).

Bake at 300ºF for 15-25 minutes, or until the edges are lightly browned.

Remove and cool completely on a wire rack. Store in a tightly covered container (these freeze well).
