½ - cup margarine
¼ - cup brown sugar
¼ - cup powdered sugar
¼ - teaspoon salt
1- egg
1 - teaspoon vanilla
2 - cups flour
chopped nuts


Coating:
36- caramels (14oz package)
½ - cup milk
red food coloring (optional)
Directions:
Directions:
1. Mix ingredients and roll into small balls and put on ungreased cookie sheet.

2. Bake 15-18 minutes at 350º.

3. Just before finished baking insert lollipop sticks in each cookie.

4. When cool, drop in coating then roll bottoms in chopped nuts.

5. Place on individual pieces of wax paper or paper candy cups.
