1C powdered sugar
1C butter, softened
1t vanilla
2C all-purpose flour
Food coloring (red and green)

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 350º. In large bowl, cream powdered sugar, butter, and vanilla. Lightly spoon flour into measuring cup; level off. Add flour, mix until well blended.

Divide dough in half; tint with food coloring as desired. Form two 8X1-inch rolls. Slice each roll in half lengthwise and replace each half with dough of opposite color. Pat rolls back together to form two 8X1-inch rolls. Slice into 1/4" slices with sharp knife; place onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake at 350º for 8-10 minutes. Let cool 1 minute before removing from cookie sheets.
