Beat 4 egg whites until stiff with 1/4 t. cream of tarter and dash of salt. Slowly add 1 1/2 cups sugar until shiny meringue. Fold in 2 t. vanilla and 6 oz. chocolate chips.
Bake on a brown paper bag at 300 for 35 minutes.
