6-7 med. potatoes
1 med. onion, finely chopped
1 can chicken broth
1 (8-oz.) pkg. cream cheese, cubed
½ c. cream of mushroom soup
1 can cream of celery soup
1 ¼ c. milk
¾ stick margarine
1 tsp. garlic salt, optional
salt & pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Cook potatoes and onions until tender on medium heat in chicken broth and enough water to cover potatoes. Add cream cheese and remove from heat. Stir until cream cheese is melted. Add soups, milk, margarine and seasonings. Add more milk if thinner consistency is desired. Can top with shredded cheese, bacon or chives.
