Possible Nut Cookie Recipe

⅔ c. Shortening
1½ c. Light brown sugar
2 Eggs
1 tsp. Vanilla
2¼ c. Flour
1 tsp. Baking soda
½ tsp. Salt
½ c. Nuts, chopped

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350°F. In large bowl, cream together shortening and light brown sugar. Beat in eggs, one at a time, until thoroughly incorporated. Stir in vanilla. In separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually stir dry ingredients into wet ingredients until just combined. Fold in chopped nuts. Drop dough onto prepared baking sheets. Bake 10-12 minutes, or until edges are golden and center is set. Allow to cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire cooling rack.
