2 cups Imperial Brown Sugar
2 cups Imperial Sugar
1/4 cup butter, softened
1 cup shortening
4 eggs
2 t. vanilla
3 cups flour
2 t. salt
2 t. soda
3 cups uncooked oats
2 cups coconut
2 cups raisons
1 cups chocolate chips
1 cups chopped nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together the brown sugar, granulated sugar, butter and shortening. Beat in the eggs and vanilla. Combine flour, salt, and soda and beat into first mixture. Add remaining ingredients and knead into first mixture. Drop by heaping teaspoons, 2 inches apart on greased baking sheet. Bake in preheated 350º oven about 8 minutes or until cookies are nicely browned. Let cookies cool on baking sheet about 1 minute before removing to rack to cool. Store in airtight container.

Best if dough is shaped into rolls, wrap and chill several hours. Then slice and bake.
